in firefox 2.0, when you middle-click on a link, it will open a new tab
but i don't like it
how can i disable "open new tab for middle-click"?

i have changed "browser.tabs.opentabfor.middleclick" to "false", but it open a new window when i click again!

I stopped using Firefox because it does other things that I didn't like and you could never get tech help from those guys......

Enter 'about:config' in the address bar. Search for the option
'browser.tabs.opentabfor.middleclick'. Right-click and change it's value to false.
Restart Firefox. Enjoy.

That is one of the coolest features. I miss it when I have my 2 button mouse.

Best thing to do if you do this by mistake is middle click on the tab. This removes it.

solution, don't middle click....
