He has a heart that is being regenerated daily by faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. This type of man is impossible to "see" with eyes, but can only be "seen" with the heart. What I can "see" with my eyes, doesn't matter so much.

I am not dating anyone at the moment. I still haven't found one who seems sold out to Jesus. It's easy for someone to say "I'm a Christian" or "I'm a religious person" or even "I go to church every time the doors open." But my question is, are you crucifying your "self" daily and taking up your cross and FOLLOWING Him? Are the fruits of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control evident in your life? Do you forgive people and refrain from making judgments against people? Can you see a murderer as your "brother" in Christ? Can you see a whore who destroyed someone's family as "forgiven" because of Christ? Do you see yourself as equal with all mankind, not above them? Do you want the whole world to know about Jesus and the Gospel message?

I want clear evidence of these things, in my "ideal" man. But more importantly, I want someone who is willing to be honest about his flaws, and who I can be honest with about mine. I want a spiritual leader who will help me to grow and help me to understand when I am wrong. I want someone to cry with when I fail and when I am a bad example of what being a Christian is, because I have those times of miserable failure. Therefore, I am not expecting to "see" a perfect man... but my "ideal" man will be growing every day, and becoming more Christlike, mainly in the areas of love for all mankind, humility of self, and carrying the Gospel message to the world as a team with me, but as my spiritual leader in Christ.

I want someone who would understand and let me go, on days when the Lord calls me to walk through a tornado proclaiming that His "shelter" is the only shelter we need seek. Or out into a dark alley where a homeless prostitute is sick and in need of help. Or wherever I am called to go. I would love someone who would either be willing to let me go, or to go with me into the danger, and willing to trust that the Lord is protecting me, or both of us. Some of the places I have been called in the past were very dangerous. And in general, I am called to be a friend to those who are outcast by society, and to show them the love of Jesus, in a world where some Christians (among others) are turning away with disgust toward these hurting people. I want a husband who will appreciate that in me and who will not hate it.

I'm not sure that is the kind of answer you were looking for, but for what it's worth... that is the kind of man I want. I hope Yahoo posted my e-mail, in the case that the ideal man is watching. :)

I'd never really thought about it to be honest, guys never seemed to be interested in me, i was happy being single.

I met my boyfriend about a year ago, and i s wasn't till then that i realised what i wanted in a guy.

Looks aren't everything, but i like tall dark haired guys, with caring eyes. It weird really, my boyfriends over 6ft tall, yet I'm only just 5ft so we look a bit funny together. But i love him, he's gorgeous, got the cutest smile,he used to play rugby so he's a little bit battered in places (he's got a boot shaped impression in his chest, his teeth are a little crooked and his back is a little buggered. But he is my ideal man. he loves me for who i am and i could never love anyone as much as i love him.

Ideal .... What is ideal? Hmm, well lkets start with what I find attractive. It will be a combination of Brad Pit (back and chest), Johnny Depp (smile!), and Orlando Bloom (eyes!).

My guy does not look like that, but he is cute, sexy and he makes me feel all happy and in love! And it is good that he doesnt look like the gentlemen above, as I dont deal with competition very well since I love him so much! :-)

well I wanted someone stocky - didn't mind about height, 5 ft 10 would have been fine! I wanted straight teeth, flat belly, nice legs!

I am with someone is 6 foot 5, crooked chipped teeth from his boxing years, a big bay window up front (his tummy!!) and he's got no ankles!!

but f**k me running - he is gorgeous - lovely, handsome, big bear, soft as a brush, gentle, kind and loving and I fancy the pants off him!!

while a minimum of 0.5 of all marriages lead to divorce, i could say that there are lots of people who're no longer choosy sufficient. yet sure, there is one among those factor as being too choosy. people make errors--that's in user-friendly terms a factor of existence. yet often situations if expectancies are too severe, that's because of the fact the guy would not easily need to discover somebody, because of the fact they are afraid or basically content being single. something holds them returned.

Think Sawyer from Lost, or Keith Urban, or Jon Bonjovi.
The one you're with can look like that if you close your eyes and use your imagination

I think David Boreanaz was hot as Angel and James Marster as Spike was on fire. My partner looks more like Paul McKenna (UK hypnotist) with glasses on.

It's not about the looks for me. All men are different and wonderful in their own little ways.

Looks are just a bonus. It what is inside that matters. the bonus should then be tall, not too dark, not too hairy and handome.
