if all the scientific predictions are true and the worl is going to end, why are we doing so much to save the inironment? are we just delaying the inevitable or is there a way of stopping the effects of polution, global worming and actually saving the planet

It would have been helpful if you had mentioned just ONE scientific prediction which says the end is near. All the same, you need not worry about doomsday sayers. As human beings, we know that death is an inevitable end for us, but that does not prevent us from developing our lives to the highest levels we are capable of. In the same way, doomsday or no doomsday, we should continue to give as much care and attention to our planet as we possibly can. Life is much more complex than we often imagine it to be, and ONE PLUS ONE in nature is NOT always equal to two. Relax therefore, and enjoy what life there is still ahead of you.

Which scientific predictions say that the world is going to end?
In the meantime, some of us would like to live on the planet in a relative degree of pleasantness. In order for that to happen, we need to take action to ensure that we do everything we can to make the environment a suitable one to live in.

um... I haven't actually seen any predictions saying that the world is going to end.. ( not including scenarios that are beyond our control)...
we have been given warnings that if we do not clean up our act that we risk doing further serious damage to our planet and basically we will suffer as a result......
We owe it to ourselves and the future generations to at least TRY and put things back on track.
