Personally, I know that I am a much nicer, open and less narrow minded person now than when I was a christian.

Not perfect of course but who is.

Good question. I still have much bad habbits from being a christian for 20 years I have to get out of me. I am definatly more tolerant. I am ashamed of some things I did as a christian. Though some of them I was ashamed while a christian but had to remain obedient. It took a while to learn the truth. Not perfect just forgiven for being born lol

I am not ashamed of anything I did when I was a christian. I was rather rebelious of religion because I questioned everything even as a child. It did take me many years before I finally let it go completely. If I were to be ashamed of anything it would be because I tried so hard for so long to believe in something that made absolutely no sense to me. Better late than never.

No, i became atheist because i find out that i was not a sincere believer though i was proud to be a Christian...i regarded Christianity a race not a way of living

now that im more open minded, i find out that i was in fact not a Christian....and after that i find no need to get back to faith...i then decided to maintain the status of atheist...

Good question. My entire family is Catholic in a very big way, and if anyone questions or criticizes the Roman Catholic Church around them, they will beat the living daylights out of that person. They are extremely violent, heavy drinkers with a Dark Ages mentality. I was like that too, when I was younger. Now I'm much better off, and I avoid them like the plague.

All humans are emotional to some degree and act on things they
hear without getting the facts. Only to feel foolish after they hear
the truth. This will happen whether one is Christian or whatever else they claim to be, as they are still human.

No, I am not embarrassed by anything of the past, but I do see myself as more appreciative of life and concerned about how to make the world better.

She was a loving Christian attending Church and going to College and one day she was raped now she works on 42 nd st as a prostitute and she's pretty darn good too!
If you walk around her and talk about the Bible she will scream at you and tell you to to get away.

I've been slowly trying to get get her back and thus far I have done okay.

The last I heard she was smoking crack.

She feels that God let her down!

Well, I was about 12 when I figured it out, so I only did childish things while I was a child.

The adults in my church had no such excuse.
