Forgiveness is the key. No matter how you go about it your anger will not subside till you do. Also you wont be able to get on with your life and have a successful life while someone can control you with this anger.
Forgive and dont carry this anger around as excess baggage into another relationship. If you dont forgive then most likely you will have the next person in your relationship sitting asking the same question, "How can I stop being so angry at my ex!"
Its hard to do and leave it but its something we all must learn to do in our life time. God Bless

Why are you angry at him? Anger is a secondary emotion. This means that you REALLY feel something else...hurt, confused, etc. You need to figure out what is REALLY going on inside of YOU and then find a way to work it out. Then the anger will resolve itself. And I agree - time is a good healer, but not by itself. Find someone neutral to talk to or start a journal. Getting things verbalized or on paper can help you 'see yourself as others see you' and sometimes can put a whole new perspective on things.

time and keep write down, letters or mails as u used before to contact with him but keep your letters for urself, it will help a lot. don't send it out, just push your anger in some words through the paper.

i think it depends on how you ended your relationship with your ex. As for me, my partner and i ended our relationship in bad terms so i can't stop being mad at my ex for a while. if its something small, then you could get over it...if its big....DON'T KEEP CONTACT. no point.

General help:
Say in a loving tone:
Peace be with you, I have released you...
Peace be with you, I have released you...
Peace be with you, I have released you...
Peace be with you, I have released you...
Peace be with you, I have released you...
Peace be with you, I have released you.
