My dear Friend, in this this world nothing is safe ! Even then Indian Railway authorities are doing best what they can for safety purpose.

NO and NEVER EVER.
One has to always purchase a valid ticket to travel on the railways on all days(24 X 7 X 365). No free rides.
And you mean to say, some nations allow free travel on their rail networks? Please let us all know.
