You need electricity
You need a computer
You need a copy of of software
You need to learn how to use it
You loose everything if you don't save
You can't wipe your bottom unlike paper
Your brain forgot how to do simple calculations
You can't use your favorite pen and pencil
Its of no use if you can print it and a hardcopy is needed

The thing is you can finish your task faster and your boss can give more task because you finished it fast. lol!
- You cannot put your signature to ensure that the figures are correct unlike handwritten spreadsheet you can authenticate the handwriting.. lol

I've been using Excel, hmmmmmm...... since I think 1988, and have found no disadvantages other than backing up your work as you should with all your data.
