Why do MEN let go of a GREAT woman, with fantastic qualities, when they don't want anything serious at that moment, and when you move on they want you back??

Anyone ever been in this situation?

Because, everybody isn't in the same headspace at the same time. If women would allow a man to conduct himself the way he's comfortable and just let things go along well when they're happy, they'd eventually get what they always wanted. When you push the issue, they get left behind(whether they do the leaving or not) and then they just get more and more bitter; until finally, they are just unbearable and alone. This when they call men 'aging gracefully' and women 'menopausal'...lol

The better question is, why do women let go of a great guy? It seems that a woman will break up with me, but constantly call me up to tell me how much they miss me and how much of a great guy I am, but they don't want to date me again. If they see that I'm with another woman though, they try to sabotage my hapiness.

I think it's a two-way street.

reaction to pain. the problem is women are well aware of the power and control they have over men and when you go through a bad one, regardless of the positive slant of the relationship you become gun shy. trust me on this one, been there done that. my advice to you is dont do what alot of women do...guess and plant hints. the direct communicative and sympathetic approach is best. ive always found a direct route to getting what you want is asking for it and dealing with the problems that ensue together and head on. good luck.
