I met this guy on net and we emailed each other for a month to get to know each other (first time I did the net dating thing I was bored). Im just wandering how long does it take a guy to buy his girl gifts, a nice rose or anything would be nice. Is there a time period or does it depend on the guy?

Well am sure u do know the answer it does depende on him i know how u feel ur just a little bored u may be suprised that even after u get d gift u may not feel that much better i think u should try looking into spiceing up the relatioship a bit.i don't know if am right but am just guessing

I don't think there's a set time-period for this to start happening. Although it most definitely depends on the guy in question, it's also important to know that i think most guys only buy things like that when they REALLY like the girl... but if your guy hasn't started buying you gifts then it really doesn't mean anything... because it depends on the guy...
Try not to push the gift thing or him... and enjoy it when he does shower you with pressies!! x

Depends on the guy, personally I don't like grand gestures, I had an ex who used to shower me with flowers, gifts etc all the time and to be honest I got bored of it all.
My husband has only bought me 2 bunches of flowers in the 10 years we've been together, but I don't care, we are happy and he does other little things which keep me happy (no., not that!)

Buying presents is a sign of great affection towards the person who receives them but what have you done to show you like him? I would have expected to see a sign from you saying '' you know what mate I like you''. The usual thing a woman wants to do for her man is wash his underpants, asking a man to commit himself without the girl getting personal with him is like not on.
so get his underpants off him wash them and get on with the relationship ASAP, the present will follow. Do not be alarmed if you find skid marks this will add to the reality of the relationship

it depends on a guy. some never give anything - cheap skunks. some start giving presents from the first day. some need some hint. u figure out which one u have

that is not what matters in a relashionship or anything else. if you're already thinking of material things i don't know how much can you care for the person...i think you're setting off with the wrong foot.
