I'm making white chili for the office. I put slightly too much chili pepper in it. Then I decided to dilute it with water. Now it is slightly too runny. It is edible and tastes good now, but I would like to thicken it up. Of course I could boil off the water but that would concentrate the chili pepper. Anything else I can do like add corn starch.
And if so, can you give directions on what to do??
Thanks from Tampa

you could thicken with cornstarch, arrowroot o flour.

All done the same way add 2 tablespoons of above with 4 tablespoons cold water. mix thoroughly so no lumps and add to chili.

you must bring it to a boil for the thickening to start.

you can add more or less of this slurry, i don't know how much chili you have made.
