Are we headed for World War III? If so, with who, when and why? What can we do to avoid this?

With the nuclear capabilities out there, it makes it real challenging to move large numbers of troops or navy. So, I doubt we have a war like WW II.

There are several scenarios. One would involve North Korea doing something stupid, like invading South Korea. But, where would it go from there. The US and its allies would go in again and solve the problem. This would not excalate into WW III because who would side with N. Korea? It can't be a World War if its the world against on nation.

I feel the same with Iran. Just because they are Arabs doesn't meant the other Arabs like them. If they invaded, let's say Iraq, where would it go. Why would the other Arab nations join in when Iran is rocking their boat.

What is China going to do, do it to who, and why? They already have more people than they know what to do with. And, if they invaded another country, that country could nuke them. What have they gained?

The best case is something starting with Israel. We would have to side with them. But, who would side with the other countries? I can't picture China asking if some Arab country needs help to fight Israel. And, who would want N. Korea?

What we need to do is stop terrioists. Any place, any where. The Middle East needs to settle down and do the Coke routine. (Hold hands and sing.). The world needs to assist each other so we may gain world peace.

Most likely with Iran, I hope WW3, doesn't happen with any other country, for years.

Iran is likely to attack Israel, and since we're allies with Israel, we'd have to help, and i'm sure Britian would help us and i'm sure Korea, would help Iran. Iran, supposedely has nukes, and they're likely to launch their nuclear weapon, which would result in massive deaths. If it hit the U.S, the U.S is likely to launch a nuke against Iran, twice.
It happened to Japan, it can happen again.

The funny thing about this is, Iran wouldn't have much of a chance. Russia/China are likely to help the U.S and many other countries. Iran will have maybe 3-5 allies, with little power.

The war in Iraq is not WW3, the day WW3 happens is the day the draft will be reinstated.

OK to all you fouls who think the world war 3 is going down...... not a chance. first of all who has all the money in the world? U.S.A. What rule do we live by? the golden rule whoever has it rules it.. Now lets talk about the Atomic weapons of mass destruction who has the most ?U.S.A .how about the theory or rather conspiracy which i believe in there about a dozen U.S.Army laser beam satellites flying and patrolling our Universe so that war world 3 wont happen but just in case if it does happen put it this way there will be nothing left of this world but peace and silence................

We are in the opening stages of World war 3.
This time it's not a nation or nations, it's an idea.
The idea ,that if you send enough hatefull people to do hatefull.murderous things, the enemy will give you what you want.
You can fight an army,a nation,because you can find them.
An idea and individuals or small groups is much harder to fight.
If we give up now instead of fighting to win,much worse will happen later.
