excuses they use to justify his lust for 9 year old aisha are as follows,
it was the cutom of the time
all men did it, so why blame only mohomed
he did not lust after her. he only maried her
allah wanted him to do it

does any of these pathetic excuses justify paedophilia? dont you think that a founder of any religion should lead holy and decent lives?

Most Muslims don't know those kind of details. They are encouraged to not look past what they are taught.

I can't justify paedophilia, however the branch of Islam that I come from states that although a nikkah (the actual marriage) took place when Aisha was 9 they did not live as man and wife until later on. This type of practice (e.g. nikkahs at a young age) is still practised in many Muslim countries-it suits them. Then then marry off the lady (after shes a certain age for example after shes finished her education) when they feel is right. Who am I to judge this?

As for just Muslims covering up for their Prophet I know many Christians who avoid getting into a debate over what the actual nature of Jesus and Mary Magdalene's relationship. And when they do talk about it they too 'cover up' and defend Jesus from the rumours that are spread about him.

Not so long ago a documentary was broadcasted here (UK) bringing to light the an arguement that Jesus had children etc and well that he may have had a relationship with Mary Magdalene. Some Christians I know defended Jesus based on the bibles teachings, just like how Muslims would defend Muhammed based on the Quran's teachings. I'm not saying the documentary about Jesus was right or wrong, what I am saying is if you want to go off 'rumours' (because lets fact it, the idea that Muhammed slept with Aisha while she was a child is that because none of us were their to witness it) then lets take into consideration that Jesus was also a founder of a religion and to be linked with a prostitute (again a rumour, my Christian friends tell me that there is no offical confirmation on Mary's occupation in the bible) can't a good thing either?

All these things are rumours with no solid (but you can find fabricated evidence) to back them up.

Every religion have areas that are questionable, and when questioned the believers tell them what they have been taught over time. To most this looks like covering up. Is this a bad thing to tell others what you have been taught? I dunno, but I've tried to answer the question to the best of my ability.

Crackin Question!

I find that when I challenge muslims on the same subject they make up so many excuses. I think deep down they are so ashamed but are not allowed to give opinions on their disgusting Cult founder.

No matter what muslims say, they cannot justify paedophilia.

What you should ask a muslim is: if their God gave permission to an old age pensioner to marry their young 9 year old daughter, would they allow it. It would be interesting to know there honest answer

Well, just 2 clear up that false idea, (mohammed) didn't lust over aisha. Its written in Islamic books that aisha's father "Abu-Bakr" was a good friend of mohammed's and the first man 2 enter islam and follow mohammed. So, Abu-Bakr wanted 2 strengthen his relations with mohammed and he did this by offering his 9 year old daughter aisha to mohammed to marry. mohammed agreed and he married 9 year old aisha. But 2 clear up the rumor that mohammed was a child malester, he never had sex with aisha until she was 20 years old. He used to play with her and buy her candy and toys until she became of age.

No it does not but that's the way it was. What should we do dig up his bones and put him on trial? Talking behind a dead man's back - man you're weird.

oh please! you go back far enough and any religion did the same. Girls were considered adults by the age of about 10. It was the way of the times, in all cultures, all religion. stop trying to find excuses for your ignorance.

They should lead holy and decent lives.. but unfortunately they don't .... ... I don't understand how people can be so stupid to think that some idiot thinks he talks to God and God tells him to do all these horrible things..... this so called prophet knows he wasn't talking to God, He knew everyone was STUPID and used God as his excuse to gain power and commit horrible acts.
