Would you date me?

Question

if I told you, "We should grab a drink sometime" and got shy, so I walked away...then when you saw me again and tried to approach me, I did the same thing...and walked away.

I'm a really shy person when I'm around the person I like.

If you were really shy you wouldn't talk to the one you like at all. So you are at level 2 already. Keep reaching for the stars, once you'll stay even for a drink ;-)

I would think that you werent intrested if you walked away twice. How about the next time you see him just try to make friendly conversation with him. I know it will be hard cause I am really shy but if you like someone you can let "being shy" get in the way. I almost did and if I had of I would be engaged to this wonderful man that I was so afraid to talk to at first, but I got to know him and now we are best friends. Try to do the talking and once he respond just tell him that you are shy and if you walk away just know its a way for you to calm down but you will be back.

Women like a man that is not deterred by trivial things like that. You are not that shy if you made the first move, you just have a deep need to know the man is really serious about you before you let him get too close to you. It does cause some confusion though, and a guy might think you're playing head games, so try to learn to reign in the shyness a little more and be a little flirty instead. Just a little.

Here is some advice: Next time you see this person,, walk up to him and say "ill like to have that drink whenever you are ready".
I have discovered that life is too short for us to miss out on chances with people we like.
It will hurt alot more if you spend your life wondering how it could have been between the two of you ,so honey take a chance you only live once!

Then i ll try to understand why are you doing that to me ? if shy was the answer then if I like you I ll try a better approach that would make you feel comfortable.

You walked away because you felt insecure right ? If you like me, you wanna be with me all the time, but you cant do that coz you felt insecure, its because of your shyness. But yes it can cause problem to most man, they'll probably think that you're playing with them.

I myself can be considered a shy person, but i wont get a date if i kept being shy. So I tried removing my shyness, as it gets in my way. So far its getting better and better.

Whenever you felt insecure, try to think "What I will do if I were not insecure" and do it in count of three. Just count to three. one, two, three and do it.

Not unless I really really liked you (even if yuou are shy). If I was not that atrracted to you then I would not pursue it any fartther. But, if I thought you were cute and realized that maybe you were shy then I would come up to you next time and hold onto your arm so u cant run away!

for your question, no i would not date you, because i don't date women. Now about your situation, you need to at least stay there until you get an answer. I am shy too, but at least i can stand up and look interested, whether i am or not. Calm down. walking away makes you just seem strange.
