Hi Marusa, what do you mean by `free` you must know that from birth to death our lives are under someones control,we have to obey more and more laws imposed by government,we have to answer to anyone above us in the real world,we are told what to do and what not to do each day of our lives,so actually we have little real freedom in life, man`s idea of freedom is very restrictive and always has limitations on it.
Real freedom comes from following Christ because then you will be free in spirit and no-one can touch this or take it away.

Free from what? While you are in this material body and material mind, you have to suffer, the body and mind demand necessities and pleasure, and you obey, but this necessities become always problems and result in miseries. The laws of nature are acting upon you, disease, old age and death are waiting for you, you are slave of your mind and senses.
And what about the government? you have to obey the law, or you will become criminal.
When you get rid from all these things, then considered yourself free.

Being free to rape and kill others isn't free. Free is a very loaded word. You should maybe be a bit more specific. Just a friendly suggestion.

Me too, who doesn't?
I think it's more about absolute freedom with wise and mature responsibility. There is no right or wrong for freedom as long as we completely aware and conscious of the reactions of all our actions in our life. We bring about our own creation or our own destruction. We take the responsibility. It's all up to us.

Freedom while keeping freedom from someone else is wrong. Living true is living free.

Your question is vague. You want to be free from what? There is some liberty that will expose you to the devil in person and you will not be helped since you will be your personal decider.

I don't think freedom is inherently good OR bad. It's entirely what you do with and make of it.

Like fire. If used properly, it can warm, fuel, and make dinner. If used improperly it can destroy everything.
