When my baby was an infant, the only thing that worked was handing her to someone else or putting her in her crib and stepping out of the room for a 5-10 minute breather.
When my hormones were "back to normal", I'd drink green tea.
Since I still breastfeed, the products I've taken have been multi-vitamins (and some B-vitamin complex when I get too little sleep). But it all goes into the milk, so I have to be really careful.
What works best for me is lots of rest and making sure I eat enough. No matter what isn't getting done, if I nap when baby naps, I'm much more patient with her and stay in a better mood. Ditto for food intake; when I'm really cranky, I suddenly realize I haven't eaten for 5 hours. A healthy snack will zap my temper in pretty short order.
Good luck!

Yoga is good as you can call on some of the techniques to get you out of some stressful situations. Just a couple of words to yourself & some breaths can make alot of difference. I have always found cammomile tea to be a wonderful relaxant, especially after a lavendar bath.

Deep breathing works as an immediate soother. After I've managed to bring some equilibrium to the situation I go outdoors (mostly with the kid in tow) either to the park or to run some errands. The fresh air getting out of the home helps me to rejuvenate myself to face whats going to come next.
