Ironically when I get thumbs down I feel as though I am not complying with the masses. Thumbs up makes me feel as though there are other people out there with like minds. Therefore, everything response I recieve I view in a positive manner.

I know of no way to know. Thumbs down are a source of pride if I get them from fanatics.

You have to reach level 2 to do thumbs.

Thumbs up where, and thumbs down what? You might want to check with your family proctologist for the former, and an eye, nose, & throat specialist for the latter.

I'd love to know myself.

Thumbs up gives you one extra point per 'thumb' (up to 50 a day)
but ONLY if your answer is chosen as best answer.

Thumbs down means nothing.

No, there is no way I know of to tell who gave you to them. Maybe Yahoo! Answers stores this data somewhere, I don't know.
