do militaries try to make solders as a robot for killing?

i am reffering to all militaries in around the world.
they give solders gun, and learn them how to kill.
do they teach them humanity? no

do they teach them love? no

the only statemente they tell them is that, just know it that u serve for ur conutry , and if u be killed u should be proude. now repeat this statement in ur mind many times.

No,we are not like the French.We defend our country.We like to kill terrorists and people that want to hurt us.Most people are that way.We dont like dictators who likes to gas their own people,or strap bombs to children because they are cowards.

While I was serving, we were taught that we had the right to refuse any illegal order. American service members also have advocates in the Judge Advocate General and the Chaplain Corps.

(Such orders are very rare, though, and they would likely never get past the lower ranks. Illegal and abusive orders make everyone look bad, and the local commanders will often take care of them in house.)

Also, having an all-volunteer military service makes us free soldiers and sailors. The only way you could really ever have what you describe is with a draft.

They LEARN us reals good on the killing, yes they do.
They also send us to college, let us love our families, and care for us, but i guess its all null and void since we's are just learnt killers right?
To the guy above me, yeah, the cadences involve what you speak of, but the main idea behind the cadences is to get us in sync with each other and instill esprit de corps, but i guess you have no idea about that either, or the word honor, which is what most cadences are about.

The best militaries train their soldiers to follow orders and how to kill. They do this because it is the best way to help the soldier come home alive after they face an enemy who is trying to kill them. I do not agree that they don't teach love. Love is a very important part of being a soldier. Soldiers need to have love for each other in order to face death together and fight for each other.

Militaries that teach their soldiers to be proud to die are not as effective as those who don't. Their strategy is to throw as many soldiers into battle to die as they can in order to overwhelm the enemy. These soldiers have little hope and are more likely to kill innocent people.

Yes. This is why they give them such harsh training reigimes - and why soldiers from wars find it incredibly hard to fit back in to normal society. Society drums into us practically every day that it is WRONG to kill people, so when it suddenly becomes right to kill a certain group of people it becomes difficult to infuse the will to kill these people in soldiers.

In order to do this armies and governments make the enemy seem less than human - hardly better than animals, through propaganda such as "they kill women and children" "they crucify our soldiers" etc. In addition armies use 'hazing' - basically treating their soldiers terribly for a reasonably short period of time, as psychologists believe this will induce stolkholm syndrome - the sympathy and affection of the one being repressed to their repressors.

However - these techniques are not always successful. During the Korean and Vietnam war the army analysed a group of soldier's guns, and found that only around 40% of them had even fired a shot. The army decided this had to stop, and now train their soldiers with different methods (not sure exactly what, though I believe it to be like 'extreme paintball', where you get hurt a LOT if you're hit) in order to make firing live guns at people less of a big deal.

I disagree these soilders are not brain washed .... my hubby is a soilder and he is humane ... he sees things that no one but a soilder sees .. he anaylzes situations and provides the solution ... he loves like any human .. soilders are far from little robots obeying orders they are human beings who are capable of compassion,empathy,consideration,pain etc etc... My hubby gives away his boxes i send with things to make him feel apprechiated despite the fact he has been spat at and verbally abused he is human and a very loving man and father despite his job

The number one role of armies always has been and always will be to destroy the enemy. To kill him completely, utterly, and totally. That's the way it is. Armies do not exist to love anyone their there to defend their countries through any means necessary. Don't like it? Don't join an army.

I completely agree with what you are saying. If you listen to the different cadences the have, They're all about killing and death. It's brain washing.
