I feel partly responsible for the problem, but at the time of sale the problem they are experiencing with the car I never had while I was the owner. Now the talk of lawyers and court is being brought up and eventhough I feel upset for them, I don't feel I should pay any amount for something I've ever experienced. They cited lemon laws, federal laws and such, does that apply to indiviual parties? p

No, from individual to individual is usually an AS IS sell. If they go to court, it may depend on how long ago you sold it to them.

No Joshua, before buying it they new owner most have examined the car and probably he or most inquired why u want to sale it and on your side u most tell the true and if they feel like buying it fine but if the say no then let them go you find someone who is interested nomatter how ugly the car seem to be.So, you are not obligated to fix the car if you were honest about the problem of the car and yhe buyer knew it.Thank u

No, it doesn't, cuz you are not an authorized dealer and they bought the cra at their own risk. I bought a lemon once from an authorized dealer, and there wasn't anything I could do. Don't worry about it. Tell them you're sorry but it's not your fault and maybe offer some help if you want to.

No, the car is sold as-is and any NEW problem is the responsiblity of the new owner.

unless you sold it to them with a warranty or a guarantee , then the problem is theirs already, not yours...
