I use limewire and i dont really get something, pls help! I heard that LimeWire is not illegal but downloading illegal/ copyrighted music is not. How do you know if its copyrighted? Im confused,..

Limewire ISNT illegal as technically it could be used to download/share personal information (e.g. such as documents, home videos, personal mp3's (e.g. your own band)).
Napster (originally) advertised itself as a place to download music for free... Limewire doesnt say that.
The act of downloading music (not owned by you, or the person who put it up there in the first place) is illegal. The means through which you carry out a crime isnt illegal, it is the act itself that is illegal...

Limewire tells and shows you whthere your download has a lisence or not!!
