I think that going to a new country can be very hard, but it should be a good opportunity for you - and if it doesn't work out, what's to stop you returning? You also need to think long term. Will your children have a better life in America or Africa, not only materially, but in terms of culture and all?

I would say, go for it, but keep in touch with the old country. One day you might want to go back, and you might be able to do a lot of good work there.

Good luck

While it's a good opportunity, education or not it will be very hard to adjust and settle in America. With the cultural difference and all that. It's not what people think. So do alot of research and planning before making a final decision.

Good luck.

I don't understand why with your education and a good job in your country you wouldn't stay there and help others to get where you are...somebody helped you. Why don't you come and visit..I believe you may find it is not what you expected.
