I run a tile shop in the North of england that sells a medium to upper range of products. I am currently working on a way to make the whole experience as easy and stress free as possible. Does anyone have any suggestions on how or what I could alter in order to make this happen?

People like to see what they thinking of buying, lot of folks can't invision..they need to see it in large preinstalled formats.Accents of different shapes and sizes installed as it would be in their homes,I think Italian tiles are always a success, some people like to know how the tile is rated,I know in our area the most successful retailers have all the newest styles installed throughout, walls, floors, counters, mock up showers etc..

I am a sales consultant in tiles and we make concept boards showing colour schemes in all materials for the home decorating side of things using paint, laminate, stone, carpets, and tiles so people can get a feel for colours and styles. It certainly takes the stress out of trying to work out where to start giving the customer a feel for what appeals to them and in turn you the sales person gets a feel for what it is that they like and then things just seem to fall in place and it becomes more exciting than daunting. Good luck.

Do you offer fitting (buy your contractor).I went not to long ago for bathroom tiles and wasn't impressed by boxes of tiles all over. should be a display of tiles mounted on board or what ever to see what they actually look like and some design suggestion of your own I dare say Its the lady of the house has last say so pamper to her but that's sales technique not what you want.
