Please research the breeds and find out what traits would fit your life style. You don't want to get a dog that needs room to run and has high energy if you live in the city and don't have the energy to keep them active. Then on the other hand if you are an active person and hikes you don't want a breed that lays around.

Labrador retrievers are good dogs, and also good with heat, they love excercise but are also very lazy at the same time. Another is american staffordshire terrier these are good scary looking but friendly. If your wanting a good guard dog try pitbulls or staffys along that kind of breed :)

Don't buy, bro. Adopt from your local shelter. They'll have all sorts of dogs in need of a home who will become your best friend overnight. Adopt one that attracts you when you go, but please don't buy a purebreed from a puppy farm. It's more important that you bond with the personality of the dog, not its breed.

Corgie. They are family friendly, short haired, don't shed like other dogs, don't need much exercise.

take into consideration the kind of climate you live in, your home size, and then zero down to a breed which can suit both. also check your budget.

Pit bulls are good dogs, very loyal, loves people and babies and children. good with kids. temperament issue is with owners not dogs. my favorite are the red ones with red nose and green eyes white chest & white paws. or the blue ones are also gorgeous. their coat really does look blue.
