I'm what you might call a 'good' Muslim, and i feel more sorry for the individuals and family's of those individuals who have lost their lives, or lost a loved one due to the actions of the 'fanatical' beings who call themselves Muslims. Don't pity me for i know that i am doing all i can to educate Muslims i know about the true path of Islam as to avoid violent fanatics.

To a degree, yes, but Muslims have a tendency to victimize themselves. They don't try to look at other perspectives. Certainly, in most Muslim countries people will not change their ways to make a Christian (or some other kind of non-Muslim person) comfortable, so why do Muslims expect it? There are plenty of good Muslims around, people have this misconception that EVERY single Muslim in the world is a suicide bomber, but that's simply not true, for obvious reasons. Only a small minority are fanatical and bloodthirsty, but this minority rapidly grows and grows when Muslims don't condemn their actions. They only say that the media is twisting up Islam, or whatever else, but the truth is that there ARE Muslims out there (whether they are considered to be "true" believers or not) who are hurting and killing others. Also, a middle ground of Muslims who are neither too religious or secular are sucked into the fanatical Islamic world when the secular/tolerant Islamic world is not strong enough.

Absolutely.
I don't think there are a lot of (fanatics) amongst the Muslim community, but unfortunately the media specially the western one portrays all Muslims in the same manner and tries to give an impression that all Muslims are fanatics and terrorists.

Oh my God, to the poster who said you don't feel sorry for the good Muslims until they denounce what the fanatics are doing in public and until they turn over fanatics to the police...

there are lots of Muslims who denounce what the extremists do, I do it all the time.. I do it publicly, and so do all of my Muslim friends.

and you act as if every Muslim lives with or knows a fanatic and that is far from the truth!! I have never known any extremist Muslim and none of the Mosques I have attended have had Imams pushing Musims to extremism or to hate non-Muslims or to do terrorist acts! If so I would be the first one going to the police.

no i do not feel sorry for a good Muslim unless they have had the guts to stand up in public to denounce the fanatics or better still handed them over to the police. the sooner we crush these nutters the better and then hopefully live in peace. most people hated the Germans 60 years ago because of the policies of Hitler even though the people had no choice really but we like and get on with them now

The so called good Muslims still believe in and practice a perverted religion which seeks to convert the rest of the world to Islam whether the rest of the world wants to be converted or not. Their religion also states quite categorically that it is perfectly acceptable for them to murder us if we do not bow down to Islam.

There is a Muslim plot being instigated right now to take over our country politically and rule us with Sharia law which means if successful we will all run the risk of being tortured and murdered if we do not embrace their filthy beliefs.

This plot is being financed from Saudi Arabia and it is very difficult for our Government to do much about it because of oil.

If this plot starts to gain momentum the so called good muslims will take the side of Islam against us for their own protection just the way the otherwise good Germans had to effectivly take Hitlers side against the Jews for their own protection.

There could well come a time when the only sensible answer is a return to the crusades with a view to wipe Islam and all Muslims off of the face of the world.

No! The so-called good (or moderate) mohommedans refuse to get involved in house-cleaning. Therefore, there is implicit acceptance of what the fanatics are up to.
At the end of the day, all mohommedans want a "one superstition world" governed by the barbaric and antiquated sharia law and monitored by the equivalent of the inquisition.

No. Good muslims follow the koran. To that end, osama bin laden is a good muslim, abu musab al-zarkawi was a good muslim, ayatolla khomeini is a good muslim, the taliban are good muslims. They follow the koran, that is what the koran teaches. If the koran didn't teach it, they wouldn't follow it.

if you follow the koran, you are a murdering terrorist.

Any good muslim does not follow the koran, and there are not many of those. Every muslim will swear by the koran, so that leads me to one conclusion.
