Perhaps you dont agree with some of the things other cultures or religion believes in, but who are we to judge anyone. Just be happy you don't know what's round the corner.

I agree with you in theory, however, just because some of us don't agree with what some religious practices, does not make us a bigot.
There comes a point though, where some religions enforce their beliefs and cultures on others who simply don't want to know. The people who don't want to know aren't bigots either. They simply want to be left alone to get on with their lives and are not allowed to.
So why should we be made to like what others preach? That is the salient question. You can't be made to like everyone. That is just life.
So when people are saying things such as; why can't we all respect others religions and cultures, I would bat the question back and say why can't people just go their own way and respect those who want nothing to do with ANY religion?
The problem in the UK particularly, is that we, as a nation, have been made to like everybody that comes here. That is fine, as long as all those who come to live here intergrate and abide by our way of life. But many do not, and not only do they not abide by our way of life, they kick against it demanding that we change our whole way, and if anybody disagrees with that, they are racist or bigots.
Now of course, many of the british are fed up with it all, and do not want to know any other ethnic minorities, simply because of the bad feeling that has festered over the years.
In short, if any foreign person moved to britain, intergrated and respected us, we would respect them back. That is how simple all of this is.
So who really are the bigots? The british or the foreigners?

each and every faith has his own enthusiasts ..whom inerpet the holly books...and teach factors which will serve their personal pastime & they're going to stay away from the sections that conflict their own believes & hate.- no count number number what you'll tell, tutor or tutor to a fanatic...the fanatic received't replace his or her ideas or concepts and this human being male or lady will proceed the distranctive way of life. enthusiasts must be watched and the on the spot they commence to do unlawful noves beginning to heart others must be reported to the perfect authorities for perfect arest and punishement for the crimes they comited or plan to do interior the call of their God or Gods and their unproper believes...that has no longer some thing to do with the authentic teachings of the religion that supose to save on with.

i think its a good ? i think bigots are evil and they best not tangle with me because i have a lot of hate built up about things that don't have any thing to do with racism, and these are the perfect people to unload on. i agree we should live and let live to, and respect peoples cultures, but when they start starving there own people, or doing weird things to there young woman, like in parts of Africa they make the young girls pregnant at a young age, so young that they are not ready, then it does some thing to there body that makes them pee on there self's all the time, so they make these girls live out in separate huts away from every one else. and this is only one atrocity there are many more, cannibalism was practiced up in tell a couple years ago is some parts of the world, mostly eating there died relatives this is some peoples culture. i think it is very complicated, but i agree with you very much i like to go places and see different culture if every where was like the u.s. what would be the use in traveling.

Im not sure that I would go so far as to say that I hate bigots, but I certainly agree with your sentiments. If only some people were more tolerant it would make life so much easier for everyone.

Best wishes, J

I agree with you. When in rome an all that... I have great respect for people in THEIR OWN country. I think it is a shame that in the case of the uk, some people have come here and turned everything upside down. They have no respect for us in our own country like for example the arguement over girls wearing their vale instead of school uniform. How about this is Britain, these are OUR rules and if you cannot abide by them, GO HOME! I would NEVER go to their country and say, I feel it is my right to wear my trainers in your mosque, please change the rules and make an exception for me!!! I am not judging anyone this world is wonderful and we all make it what it is but it makes me sad to think that the uk infestation is that bad that soon true BRITS are going to completely lose their identity and we won't have a culture to speak of! My granddad would be turning in his grave!

By saying "I hate xxxx" where 'xxxx' is any generalised group of people, you are yourself being a bigot. As you say yourself "who are we to judge anyone?" - 'anyone' includes bigots I'm afraid...
