In my experience the only way for an Indian to spend some time in the UK is for you to sign up for a course over the summer. You'll need a letter of sponsorship from a UK national but it's certainly feasible. Go to the UK Embassy or consulate website and check out how to apply. It's going to take a long, long time though and your application will not necessarily be successful.

you could probably get one, but I doubt you have enough time. It takes time to process and verify the information, maybe several years.
