peppermint is known to have tummy-calming properties. also, you can buy ginger in pill form at a store. that will help a LOT. when i was pregnant, i found that eating a small something every 2 hours kept me from getting sick. if i didnt, i was gonna hurl for sure, lol. but give the ginger a try, it was recommended by my doc.

It's definitely not in your head - I had it throughout the whole 9 months in 2 out of 3 pregancies. I didn't find peppermint candy helpful at all. Same as the other responder, my doctor recommended taking ginger. You can either buy in capsule form, or make tea out of ginger root.

not really. morning sickness is caused by hunger. when you don't have enough food in your stomach then you get nauseated. you can relieve this by eating 4-5 small meals during the day and getting a good protein snack right before bed. and by puting some saltines on the bedside table and eating a few before you get up can help witht the sickness.

Yes, it's natural. Even the smell of peppermint can reduce nausea.

Try saltine crackers. I have no idea why. I've never been pregnant, but my friends swear by it.
