Tiger's athletic, smart , disciplined, hard working, has a great attitude, highly driven, competitive, sets goals, has high standards for himself......if someone else can challenge that...he would be more than happy to except it.
He is a great ambassador to the game of Golf!!

I've got a secret little Man-Crush on Adam Scott (oops, not a secret anymore). I've got a feeling he could be in for a big season. He's got a very good overall game. I think that if he can break through with a couple of wins, maybe a major, he'll be the next great contender.
My #2 challenger would be Vijay, since he has been on top before, so he knows what it takes.
Either way, Tiger will remain #1 until he decides to change his swing again. Nobody is just going to outplay him and take the #1 spot away from him. Tiger is so far superior to his competition, it's almost comical.

In my opinion no one can really challenge Tiger Woods for the no1 spot.
He will stay for a long time at this position until a new player, coming from another generation of junior golfer bit Tiger's records.
The only human who may challenge him outside of the course maybe his future child! (LOL).

Vijay Singh,but I think Tiger's talent is limitless.He seems to get better with time.he is still pretty young.It will be very tough for anyone to be better at golf than Tiger.I am a fan of Tiger's so I am a bit jaded.I saw on the news a few days ago there is another young kid who is very good,but he won't be ready for several years.

Only players this year with a chance are Vijay,Furyk and Mickelson. I said a chance, nobody but Tiger will be No 1.

tiger woods. its simple when tiger woods is on his game nobody will beats him. his mental game is much better than any other player on tour. his only weakness is lack of preparation and rust. when he's focused and his game is on nobody can beat him no matter how well they play not even Vijay.
