when I got her, they said she was 1/2 chow, 1/2 setter..... do you see any truth in this?

hmmmmm..black tongue, huh..that narrows it down to Shar pei and Chow chow...Would mean that she is maybe a Poodle/Shar pei mix...

so many people will say chow because of the black tongue. This is NOT true. Here is a list of dogs that can have black tongues and are PUREBRED
Airedale, Akita, Australian Cattle Dog, Australian Shepherd, Belgian Sheepdog, Belgian Tervuren, Belgian Malinois, Bichon Frise
Bouvier de Flandres, Bull Mastiff, Cairn Terrier, Chinese Shar-Pei, Collie, Cocker Spaniel, Dalmatian, Doberman Pinscher,
English Setter, Eurasier, Fila Brasileiro, Flat-coated Retriever, German Shepherd, Golden Retriever, Gordon Setter,Great Pyrenees,

She looks like a terri-poo, and there must be some chow or shar pei in the line somewhere to get the black tongue. But her nose says terrier.
She's a doll, whatever she is. Cute!

black tongue is sher-pei or chow mostly..but with all that hair i'm not sure..color...lots ahair black tongue....well sheep dog and sher-pei...thats as good as i can do on that one and i'm usally a good guess i'm just not sure
