I really don't know if there is a certain age they come through. I had my wisdom teeth removed when I was in high school, but a friend of mine just had hers removed a few days ago and she's 30!

Most of our patient who get their wisdom teeth removed are 15-19 but we do have patients of all ages. Wisdom teeth do not always break through the gum line. If they are bothering you or you do not want your teeth to crowd one another when(if) they come in you should have them removed.

They can come up quite fast, like between a few days or a few weeks. There is nothing unusual in having them come through at age 19. Some can get them appearing later, like 25 or even 30.

"Wisdom teeth are third molars that usually appear between the ages of 17 and 24 (although they may appear when older, younger, or may not appear at all)." -- quoted from Wikipedia (link to full information below)

Usually you get them in your late teens or early 20s. Have your dentist take a look next time you get your teeth cleaned to make sure they're coming in right and not causing any trouble.

i was around your age when I got mine out. I think it differs from person to person as with a lot of things. I myself got them out and know a few others, and they all turned out fine. Don't worry when the times comes when you need to get them removed.
