hi!
even iam 17 and am preparing 4 my engineering exams, how much 2 sleep really depends on what u do throughout the day!
I personally study 4 the day and go off 2 sleep at a correct time(I mean by 11:30) coz ur next days productivity depends on your nights rest! I would advise 6 and half 2 7 hours of sleep 4 u as that recharges u completely even though u r not indulging in physical acts,u r using ur mind and it needs adequete time 2 recharge!!

A depressed 17 year old may need seventeen hours of sleep and 30 hours of day to battle the pain of depression. Being stressed to the level of a mild neurosis is the best for studying as so much is done by reading and rewriting. Try to do it much the same everyday. You don't need to be drunk on the weekends but you need fellowship of your type of people.

In the army, we used to say that each person requires 7~8 hours of uninterrupted sleep each day. But it seems that we always get less than that.
