try a pull up type thing. the bed wetting store has a pant for day time wetting to. try this link.http://www.bedwettingstore.com/Briefs/item_briefs_girls.htm

I think you should take her to the doctor about this, but do not go with meds,(unless she is sick with a UTI, diabetes, or some other kind of sickness. if it is just a week blader, let it grow on its own) some of the meds they give for this kind of thing are not good for kids. but he might be able to tell you what is wrong. email me if you have more questions.

A friend of mine who is in her 60's now tells the story of how she was wetting her pants during the day into her teens. She did not feel the sensation of the urine coming until it was to late. She was taken to a doctor who said that her back was a bit out of line and it was putting pressures on her spine which ever so slightly numb her lower half. She was taken to a kiropractor who work on the back once or twice and she never wet on herself again. I think there is probably some kind of medical issue here so start with a urologist.

Ok I'm 24 and I wet my bed until I was thirteen or fourteen. I never went to the doctor for it and never had to take medication. It just happens. You'd be suprised how many people have this problem. It's ok though your daughter will grow out of it.

I would suggest maybe setting an alarm for a certain time every night so that she can wake up and go to the restroom. Eventually it'll become automatic for her to get up and soon she won't need the alarm.

First, You need to get her to a Dr IMMEDIATELY!! Why? because it can be a NUMBER of things wrong with her!! MS ( and don't say you can't get MS at that age because I was in my 20's when I got it and YES I am incontinent), diabetes anything!!I have an 18 year old daughter that has NO control over her bladder and yes she wears diapers, she didn't like them at first but she likes them better then wet pants. She is currently going to the Drs and they have performed numerous tests on her. She is going through pure heck. I just hope that she doesn't have MS. Talk to your daughter, explain to her that diapers are better than wet pants, no one will know unless you tell them tell her that it will only be temporary until drs rule things out. Good Luck!!

First of all talk to her, because some kids wet thier pants when they are remembering somthing in the past, they just make up the excuse that they didn't have enough time to reach the bathroom.
Second of all, go to the doctor to get her bladder checked.

If she is still wetting the bed at this age, then you cannot *teach* her not to do it. It is an involutary response which occurs while she is sleeping. She would benefit from medication for over-active bladder.

Don't make her feel bad about this. There is nothing she can do about it.

Bed wetting can also be a symptom of a much larger problem, including diabetes. My daughter is diabetic, and that is one of the first symptoms they ask about. High blood sugars can lead to bed wetting. Your daughter really needs to be evaluated for possible illnesses.

My niece was like that and her mom finally took her for some tests and found that she has poly cystic kidney disease. I would suggest that you do the same. Good Luck, And I'm hoping that nothing is wrong
