If their behavior was harmful to other members of the family. And I would never kick them out, I would find an alternate living situation for them, such as military school or a program for problem teens.
An example would be if I found out my teenager was molesting their sibling. I would find a program to help them.

Look, i'm 19 yrs. old and i've probably been through more stuff than most ppl half my age have been through. I've been getting kicked out off and on since I was 15. Your parents kick you out because it's a thing called tough love...most likely that's how their parents raised them. By kicking you out w/o time for a plan or a way to get there or anywhere to go and a place for your stuff, well it's all just a dose of reality. They want you to have that experience b/c until you do...you won't ever realize how much better it is. If you're not following their rules then of course they don't want you there! The only way you'll be able to do what you want is to get a job and save up so you can live on your own and live by your own rules. People always think the grass is greener on the other side..but let me tell you something...when your walking around strung out in a city that's well known for its crime rate at 3 in the morning with no where to go but a crack house and it's freezing...you finally realize where you really need to be. And that's in your own bed under your own roof where you feel comfortable and secure. You'll know you can wake up and have a place to take a hot shower and a meal to cook & not have to look over your shoulder b/c of the crack atticks that walk the same streets who'll do anything for a few bux. Trust me...stay at home, I mean if it's an abusive or unsafe situation...ask for help from someone you can trust. Come up with a RATIONAL plan, and rise above it. Or else you'll just end up another statistic who your parents' will hear about on the Sat. morning news.

If the kid was having legal issues as far as drug/alcohol abuse, or getting in trouble with the law, i would send them to a rehab center. If underage means teenage, 16, 17, kicking them out could be a wake up call to them and show them how the real world works. Maybe make them appreciate the parents more, make them more responsible and respectful.

Unless the kid is going to harm the lives of yours or other family numbers in your household, you should never kick your under aged children out.

Well if they were trying to kill me or a sibling that may do it. But you are not allowed if they are under age. Now if they are over 18 and they don't want to live bye the parents rules, then bye all means teach them a lesson. Kids need to be taught that they can't depend on their parents. They need to grow up at some point, and fend for themselves.

I couldn't kick an underaged kid out of the house. Now if they were 18 and over and they done things that were so wrong then anyone might could do that then.

The ONLY reason, is if there is a genuine concern for safety of other children in the house.

never. they are underage, kids, not fully matured, besides they are part of my family....
even they do something bad, they need understanding and disciplin without discipline and shouting....
i would kick them when they are 35 year old hairy man without a job, and a slutty wife.. and with already with a dozen children of their own....
cuz if they wont, i would burn the house with them...
