It is normal for you to feel like that. They probably thought that no one could not hear them, but that wasn't the case. If that happens again, just go about your business or maybe get yourself an Ipod to listen to music. Someday when you get married, you will understand.

I felt the same way when I heard noises from my parents room. I was pretty freaked out and didn't know what was happening in there at first. I asked my mom the following day if she had trouble breathing last night and she turned red and there was an awkward silence that filled the kitchen that morning.

You'll hear more of that if you ever live in a dorm in college... The good news is that, although you may not cringe at the thought of your neighbor and whoever they have in there going at it like rabbits, it gets really annoying after a while... >_>

Hi Dummy,

Its perfectly normal. You can't avoid the truths of life. That is what is called as the practical approach to life. Be practical, have the guts to accept the truths. Its perfectly natural for a husband and wife to have sex, so may be since you are hearing it for the first time thats why it feels awkward for you, but the more you will face the realities of life, the more you will be comfortable to live with it. You can't change the rules of life, you can only learn to adapt to live with the principles of life. Be practical.... Move up in life....

Common Dude. Every couple, of all ages, as long as they are still capacitated to do it has the right for contact. After all, they are your parents. You feel disgusted maybe because you think they're old enough to do that crap or that they are too noisy when they do but that all of which is just in you mind.

Very normal indeed.I felt scared and embarrassed too when I heard them. You can stuff headphone in ears and turn on music loudly, then you'll feel better once the 'noises' were not heard.

i'ld feel disgusted and embarrassed too, so don't worry :) it's normal...

just pretend nothing happened, and whenever you start to think about it, force yourself to think of other stuff or do something that will take your mind off it... after all, they're humans like everyone else...

I would feel like buying earplugs. I would feel fortunate to have parents who still love one another.
