Jeffery, You can console yourself with false information but the bible is true and stands against any written document..have you checked out the dead sea scrolls? They have information which backs the bible...

Ryan, I made a statement and did not condem anyone, did YOU feel condemmed? Condemnation is from Satan and is not of God.

I think that as far as atheists are concerned they do have knowledge of what they consider the truth and that if you hoping to convert people to being christians by asking questions such as these it won't work.
People believe what they want to believe, and why stop at just asking atheists what they think of that statement and not people of other religions who don't use the christian bible.
To quote John Lennon: "Imagine theres not heaven, its easy if you try, no hell below us, above us only sky" - what do you think of that statement?
From what I know of the Dead Sea Scrolls, they don't want to translate them and reveal what they really say to the public cause it contradicts many parts of the bible. And look at how many different versions of the bible there are, how many different translations have been made who is too say which translation is the real one if there is such a thing - its a book by man. Look at how many societies existed in peace before the bible came along.

I don't believe that the Bible is the word of god... I believe that it was likely written to be used as a means to control society. But that doesn't mean that I think it was compiled by idiots - if this is a real statement, I'd just say that it's an example that whoever put the thing together took into account the fact that people would challenge it in the future, and they tried to build things in that would help to protect it from such questions.

i too can play that game as a Christian
1Tim 2:6 Salvation of all is testified in due time Are we judging God before due time?
i think u need to worry about yor sins before u worry about any one else Jesus says that only god can judge and we are not to do it by telling them they are evil will not bring them to god it only drives them futher away
edit
how are u not condeming the athiest u just sent this out to them saying that if they don't change thier ways they are doomed. u need to get a new dance this is old even for me and i'm a christian lol and btw since when did we only need half a bible? u will sit there and say that they are wrong but u can't even see that u can't just read the nt and throw out the ot lol peeps like u make me laugh

The Bible was written by man and not by God. Men are liars and frauds. Especially when it comes to religion. Example .. . . Jesus is portrayed white isn't he ? Well he is far from white but was advertised as white to gain popularity. The Bible breeds intolerance and hipocrates.

Isn't the point of the bible to make you believe that the bible is truth and all other info regarding god(s) as false?

Its very ambiguous and can be interpreted many different ways. What do religious people think of this un-ambiguous statement? "Over 100 million people killed in the name of God and the religions encourage the followers to ignore the non-stop genocide".

what do you think of this
(Deuteronomy 22:20-21 NAB) But if this charge is true (that she wasn't a virgin on her wedding night), and evidence of the girls virginity is not found, they shall bring the girl to the entrance of her fathers house and there her townsman shall stone her to death, because she committed a crime against Israel by her unchasteness in her father's house. Thus shall you purge the evil from your midst.
are you virgen?
