Well first of all evolution takes a very long time to take effect. Secondly, it would be very hard for cows to become "non-tasty", a predator wouldn't be able to determine whether or not it's tasty without tasting it and by that point the predator would just eat the cow it has rather than go out and find another one. Third, we breed the cows nowadays, natural selection can't affect them so long as we interfere.

Gosh, you're dumb. They turn the bad ones into hamburger and save the parents of the best-tasting calves to produce the next generation of breeders. Even the world's toughest, least tasty cow will still make great leather furniture...

Because we breed cows, instead of allowing natural selection to take place. Some cattle herds are even purposely inbred to a level of mental retardation, in order to make tending them easier.

Cattle are selectively bred by the farmers and are in an evolutionary stasis. In other words natural selection isn't at work in a domestically bred animal.

Why has the percentage of Arfrican Elephants born without tusks soared tremendously lately?
Last I heard, Ivory Hunters had something to do with it.

because they know we love their meat, and they love us thinning out their numbers 2. if we weren't murdering cows, they'd die of starvation and overpopulation.
