Don't make a "church guy" your goal. If it happens naturally, then great. You're looking for over all compatibility, not just religious preference. I can tell you for a fact, I have met some wonderful men with high moral standards who did not attend church.
You are the one who has to prioritize the qualities you want in a guy. Make a mental list and stick to your standards, but don't think those standards can't be found outside of the box (church).

Some of the worst guys I ever dated I met at church. My sister married a guy she met at church. You could get lucky, or you meet the same jerks that you meet elsewhere, and be even more hurt in the end because you assumed you shared the same values.

You just can't tell the truth in someone's heart by whether or not they go to church, but at least you know you have something in common from the start.

"Church" people tend to try and hold themselves to impossibly high standards, which makes them often have a 'second life' where they enjoy their carnal desires.

I'd say in the past 20 years, most of the serial killers, child molesters, adultering church secretary f*ckers, closet gay prostitute users, choir boy rapists, pedophiles, hooker renters, and other 2-faced, hypocritical phonies in the news have been "church" people.

Whichever god they serve, I'm sure if he ever met them face to face he couldn't stop puking long enough to slap the taste out of their mouths for misrepresenting whatever good he stands for.

maybe, but when I went to high school church youth group I observed that a lot of the guys seemed to go through an awful lot of girlfriends, leaving the girls pretty upset.

No, its not a quarantee, it depends on their real personality. Try to learn from the past to find the guy of your dream

The bet is better yes; how do you feel about him? Does he like you?
