As a retired mental health professional with 20+ years experience, I can tell you that the answer here is that we have become such a self-centered culture that everyone has to have a "disorder" in order to have or be something "special", and they'll go to the gutter to out-do the other in claiming their "disorder". And laziness, and the reliance on drugs, prescribed or not, is a major factor in why people go in said direction. And I can tell you FIRST HAND that psychiatrists deliberately diagnose and prescribe ERRONEOUSLY in order to line their pockets and bank accounts with increasing funds, and I hope and pray that lovedbythemanwhohungthemo, who claims to be a student in psychiatry, doesn't fall into that same modality of "treatment" of her patients, or I hope she gets sued for malpractice till the dogs come home. And andertwinsen is SSSOOOOOOO correct in her answer that, if it were just more complete, I'd recommend you give her the 10 points for Best Answer. But then Sam's answer is "on-the-mark" too, and Diana and me both have great answers. Sorry I get so excited/agitated on this subject matter but I worked for over 20 years realizing first hand in a professional setting the truth to what you are saying, and you can't say it in such a setting unless you have unbreachable truth that even lawyers can't rip up, and that profession is about as full of trash as any in the universe. Okay. I'll shut up now. Sorry. God Bless you.

It's not a disorder at all unless you put thier happiness before yours and even then it only becomes unfortunate for you.
Try to remember that nobody is there to care about you as much as you. You have got to be your own best friend first and stop trying to please everybody else. There is an old saying that is true in the sense that when people get things handed to them to easy they take it for granted. Do not let it go that far ok cuz they will always disappoint you and take advantage of your heart.

I like to see this because it is the god teachings of Christianity but of course not their real actions. There is a promise to you if you follow this plan and you will be saved in the days when you see the evils all around you . You are earning points the way a good mother earns points in life journeys.
You will never really abandon these beliefs as the spiritual rewards make them righteous to your mind. Be wise as serpents and harmless as a doves. Those who are chained to evil have no choice as their mind has been so trained . Who showed you the way?

If it makes you happy, then you could be doing it subconsciously to please yourself. Only when other peoples' needs and desires become a nuisance to you or interfere with your wants and needs does this become a problem. Right now, you enjoy pleasing people. Maybe you should be a "broker" or a concierge. They have a lot of class and they love helping and pleasing people.

there is nothin wrong with that, you are just doing what you feel makes you happy but honestly at times if you want to say no you should because someone will take your kindness for a weakness because humans can't always treat others how they are treated. so as long as you are doing you and staying happy then there is nothin wrong with you at all

Do you ever feel like people are taking advantage of you when you do this? Do you ever feel like you deserve better treatment from them because you treat them nice, and then feel disappointed because your not getting the results you want? If you don't feel either one of these things, I wouldn't worry about it all. The world needs more people like you.
