When leaves do not have their normal green color; they may be pale green, yellow, or yellow-white. This is a condition in which plant foliage produces insufficient chlorophyll, called chlorosis.
Yellow leaves have little or no ability to manufacture carbohydrates to provide energy for plant growth. The plant will usually die unless the cause of its chlorophyll insufficiency is treated.
Causes include fertilizer deficiencies, high pH levels, herbicides disease and physical damage.
