Change the ratio of carbs you are eating so that they maintain within the recommended daily levels. Once your carbs are under control find substantive low-calorie substitutes for your current snacks. Things that are big, large portioned, yet with small amounts of calories (you can make some large delicious salads with lots of fixings and still keep a low calorie count).

Also, why are you eating so much? Never feeling full is not normal; investigate the stimuli that cause you to eat. Are you depressed, nervous, angry, bored, or doing it out of habit (e.g. the TV is on, the bag of chips is in my lap, therefore I eat).

There is no simple way to lose weight, but you need to excercise (try doing more than just a bike). For that matter, try increasing your daily exercise routine by 10 minutes until you're up to a full hour. Do 30min/60min on alternating days. Finally, you simply need to eat healthier, and be aware of the amount you are consuming. Eating many small portions throughout the day rather than a few large meals will help keep your weight down.

Keeping a large bag of carrot sticks around can really help as well, and don't forget to dump regular sodas.

Best of luck!

The only way anyone is going to lose weight is to consume less calories than you are burning. The exercise bike is really good for your heart but if you are consuming more food than your body needs, you are still going to gain weight and certainly not lose. As far as cheap is concerned, stop buying junk foods and replace those with raw vegetables and eat about three pieces of fruit a day. Drink skim milk daily, take a multi vitamin and keep burning calories.

Well... you should try to not eat any really fried/greasy foods such as chips or McDonalds fries. Try eating more veggies and meat. Look at the calories if you want. Basically the fat calories and not the regular calories. THe less fat calories the better. Dont eat alot of wheat products. like a slice of bread or a bowl of rice as big as your fist is enough.

Another way is to drink ALOT of tea. It helps really. Just turn that 30 minutes of exercise into maybe 45 min - 60 min a day and you'll do fine. ^^

don't starve, but don't fill yourself up totally if you want to lose weight. just stop eating when you're halfway full. drink lots of water, eat before 5, avoid fatty food/drinks, exercise...not TOO hard.

are you eating too many of the wrong kinds of carbs ?

eating more protein will keep you feeling satisfied longer. what about your fat intake? that should be at least 20% of your daily calories. more fiber and veggies will help and drinking more water.
