Nelly: In spite of some bad theology and some dysfunctional religion, I can tell you that God loves ALL people ever, born ! When you read the Holy Bible objectively, from cover to cover without any prejudice (because prejudice is a barrier to any truth), you will find that what people in general both, think and say are oftentimes, not what you will read in the Bible. You will find a master plan being unravelled involving man kind, starting with Adam and Eve, Satan and the promise of Christ to redeem all people , after the "Adam" kind. You will end up finding that eventually, ALL people will win in the very end ... and a New World will become a reality with abundance and peace for all - all made possible by the very One, Who started the "ball" rolling from the very beginning ! We will ultimately [process] see our once-dead loved ones again - reunited forever on earth ! This once thought of "bigot" of a God will be seen as He is - loving, compassionate and faithful to His creation. Then; the proverbial "coin" will drop and we all will see that it was really Satan giving off evil vibes and controlling the resistance against God and Who He really is !

Yes if your definition of a bigot is hating homosexuality. God doesn't hate the person, he hates the sin. If a group of people sin so much he hates the group as in Sodom and Gomorrah. You first need to understand that bigot is a man made term. God doesn't hate black white Asian etc. But, he does hate homosexuality.

Thumbs down time lol

God loves everyone equally, if they do his will. God hates wickedness. He is in no way, shape, or form prejudiced. Acts 10:34,35: At this Peter opened his mouth and said: For a certainty I perceive that God is not partial, but in every nation the man that fears him and works righteousness is acceptable to him.
That's just one scripture. God is love, so he is not prejudiced. You can contact me if you have any other questions...my email is the same as my nick @yahoo.com

You don't have to justify God; and NO HE is NOT a bigot. Salvation is available for free to ANYONE who will repent of their sins and accept the Lord Jesus' death, burial, and resurrection as a propitiation for their sins.

I've got three daughters, each of them has a different personality and as such to treat them fairly i have to treat them differently, and because i love them uncondionally i do. if there was an all loving and compassionate god then that god should do the same for its children.the children of faith and good character could be left to themselves and indeed the children of faith with a bad character, for they know the rules and believe in them, they understand the consequences. if we are made in god's image, then the children god must take most pride in are the children of no faith and of good character, for these children are good without any thought of reward or punishment, the goodness comes from within the child itself, any parent would, indeed love and cherish such a child. and that child has put to use with most diligence the one gift of god that seperates humanity from the beasts, intelligence. for faith itself is not unique to man, some dogs show faith for their masters that puts the efforts of men to shame. never is that faith shaken, they are never racked with doubt and even death will not shake that unconditional loving faith. humanity cannot say as much, for in the darkest times can they say that they have not felt a pang of doubt. if god gave humanity the gift of intelligence, then it was given to be used, to look with wonder, to probe and test, and measure; to understand. and with that understanding we see a universe that is immensely old, and life that rose up from the basest forms. we do not see the hand of god in every little thing. now which child would you favour, the one that forever cringes in the fear of your wrath, and like some clinging sycophant sings your praises mindlessly both night and day. or would you, in your heart of hearts, love most the child who lives its life without quaking at your shadow, a child who has left the nest and is self sufficient both in goodness and in character and if they had to love you back it would not be for fear or favour, but because they thought that you deserved that love and their respect, what greater honour and gift could one give another. i know that if i were god, i would, secretly, love the good atheist the most.

Where did you get this idea of God loving us all equally. God doesn't need our love. God has everything, is rich. We are the ones who must vye for His favour. God doesn't love us all equally, nor is He a bigot or unjust. It is man that does injustice to himself. It is man who wrongs his own soul.

No, but since human beings are made in His image, we shouldn't act that way. You'd think in 2007, people would be past race, class, etc.
