unless u see fat thighs extra chins, and pot belly? u probably arent fat unless ure weight is over like by 10 kilos off the weight u are suppoese to be for ur height. check ure BMI. if u see a belly.. it means ure very lazy and should be excercising like go for a run or play sonething physical. watch wat u eat! eat more nutritous stuff. itl benefit u in a long run. practise self control.

no need to stop eating. just modify your diet a little.
start eating all healthy foods and make your calorie intake about what you actually burn at rest. now get active a couple of miles running or power walking a few step ups (no need to pay for a gym most homes can be turned in to a basic low tech gym.

step ups what better than your stairs. either just walk up and down the full flight for about half an hour a day or stand at the bottom for the duration and step up and back off.

stay well away from pizza, fried foods and fizzy sugary drinks.

a litre of apple juice a day is good for you.
there are lots of things you can do.
however remeber not everyone is going to be skinny model thin, it is a wide world and there are many different shapes and sizes that occure naturally even with the healthiest of diets.
rember too that chocolate is not a friends in large amounts neither is ice cream. they are ok for a treat once or twice a month but not as a regular thing.

i am now 33, and i'm now set in my ways. i eat all the wrong foods in high quantaties. so please do not end up like me.
you do not want to end up with hip and knee pain, as a result of a bad diet and insufficient exercise making you overweight and placing more stress on your joints and so leaving you in pain.

pain with every step you make 24/7 is not fun.
take steps now to solve any problems in your diet before it is too late and you are unable to do the things you love because of the weight you carry.

so consult your GP and a dietician. of course the weight gain you are experiancing is normal and nothing to worry about. you are after all still growing and will continue to grow thoughh the growth slows down from age 21 an onwards.

eat well keep safe and most of all consult a professional dietician NOW!

If I was you I would really stay away from fast food. If you do like fast food, you need to make healthier choices. The fast food places that eat at, I go into the Internet and get calorie information. I love McDonald's and have found that its OK to get a happy meal, if you get the happy meal, the hamburger one and a diet drink, the whole meal is under 600 calories. That is not bad. The reason why their are so many overweight people is because of the food that is served today. High fat, big portions. So it is up to the consumer to make better choices. At least you have the Internet to help you see what the calorie content is in food these days. I hope that this has helped

Crunches have next to nothing to do with pot bellies. They help strengthen and shape your abs, but the body naturally stores fat under the abdominal muscles, pushing the belly outwards. Muscle training excercises are good for you, but they don't burn a lot of calories. If you continue to gain weight/body changes, you want to focus on low impact cardiovascular excercise that burns calories... light jogging, elliptical machines, etc.
At your age though, changes are natural. The body you have now won't be the same as the body you had a few years ago, and you'll need to learn how to regulate yourself along with physical and metabolic changes.

Im 16 and have the same problem...never over weight and then all of a sudden bam! Definitely get to the gym or whatever you can to exercise. Eliptical/treadmill are great with a mix of crunches. Do them like 3-5 times a week and in no time you'll be back to your old self but remember as quick as it goes off it'll come back on...as you get older you dont have the same metabolism. Good LUCK!

unless you want to be obese like the rest of america you need to have some discipline and control you habits. also stop watching so much T.V. and get out of the house. play a sport or something... just be a normal 15 year old and have fun.

You need to change your habits> eat healthy and exercise. I know the answer is short but sometimes the best answer is short and simple.

"If you keep doing what you do, you keep getting what you got." my personal trainer told me this I've always been skinny, but wanted to add muscle so I had to change, because what I was doing wasn't working. You obviously care about yourself so JUST DO IT!

Eating isn't the problem it is weak abdominal muscles. You need to do some abdominal muscle exercises.
