i remember this water therapy thing...
a friend of mine adviced me to take WATER for a week only...water therapy is good coz if you diet yourself from food, NOT with water... water is more impt...
now ill tell you to take it only for a FEW DAYS....more than 8 glasses a day is good esp if you are only taking water...
it will help you lose weight more....
but after a week or less, eat but control yourself from eating more coz you will get fat DOUBLE the weight you had....

You shouldn't do it at all because the body needs much more than water to perform optimally. All diets that limit groups of food also limit the vitamins and minerals that these groups provide and can therefore set you up for worse problems than a couple extra pounds. The water diet is not a good idea. Adding more water to the diet can be a very good idea because it helps flush out toxins and such.
One of the things to look at when deciding on a diet is, "What am I depriving my body of when I cease to provide ___?"
In the case of the water diet, you would deprive your body of far too much for it to benefit you.
water diet = bad idea
Furthermore, any diet that is short term, like a water diet, is bound to fail because the body will more than compensate for anything it thinks it has lost while you were depriving it. If you want to do a diet, and again, I really don't think anything other than caloric cutback is neccessary unless advised by a doctor, why not try to eat all fruits and vegetables for a week?
Yup, go vegan for a week. It'll clean out some toxins and increase your vitaimin intake.
After that week, return to your normal diet without fried foods. Adjust your body for optimal eating while you're young. Eliminate bad foods-foods that are fried, for example. Replace "bad foods" with "good foods." Now that's a challenge that makes sense.
Water diet, looking at nature, have you ever seen any animal survive on just water? Nah, they know better and so do we.

GEEZ! Stupid diet tips will get you in trouble!
Don't diet on water, liquid, vitamins, anything.
If you want to fast, do it for a 24 hr period and be done with it. Your body should not be taking in more than 8 glasses of water a day.
You need calories, proteins and fats. You also need antioxidants.
If you want to lose weight, eat smaller meals every two to three hours a day and never eat past 7 to 7:30 pm.
Get rid of simple (table) sugars. Go for complex sugars, complex carbs, high quality proteins and fats and get rid of trans fats. Get away from caffeine, tobacco, and stay away from Micky D's and that damned Starbucks. They both place a secret ingredient in their foods. Why do you think that those two businesses are so profitable? The secret ingredient! Stay away from them and the like.
Exercise with cardio and weights and swimming. If you don't know how to swim, learn! You'll be toned and slim before you know it, just be consistent and don't become a fanatic.
Don't go on a damned water diet, sorry, but that's stupid. Hey, keeping it real.
Good luck...

imagine about it this kind... the first 5-10 pounds you lose on a "popular" weight help plan are WATER WEIGHT - so eating no longer some thing yet water may extremely make you income weight! although, with 0 calorie intake - your body ought to bypass into starvation Mode practically in the recent day. that is followed through weak point, and in all likelihood even somewhat ailment/nausea. After an afternoon or so of this, your body will commence feeding upon itself - both fat AND muscle. many times the ailment will kick in worse once you restart eating - your body receives used to no longer eating, and it is totally elementary to "overdo it" (which will properly be achieved through eating practically some thing at this factor). Pushing your self at this factor will only make issues worse - you should gradually artwork your some time previous as a lot as your "popular" intake factor ;)

NO dont do it!
1/ when you starve yourself, you dont get the right amount of nutrients or healthy stuff... not good. you will have less energy and probably get sick.
2/ when you start eating again, you will actually gain weight becuase your body is making up for the lack of food and enrgy you were originally supposed to have.
3/ a lady in the usa radio contest died from going on a water diet...i think it was to get money or something.
so dont do it
my friend did it for i think a month (water and gum plus one/two meal a day) and she was like overweight. now she has thin legs but a fatty belly... i think it also makes your body out of proportion. so dont do it. excersize and keep you up your healthy food.

an occasional fast is not a bad thing, some would say its a good thing but don't over do it. I would not refrain from water and I wouldn't fast for more that 24 hrs. Fact is that's how I do it about every 2 months.

dont believe on diet pills... you will lose weight for some few months, and when you stop using the diet pills, you will tend to gain weight, double the weight you had before....if you can maintain, why not, but what if you cannot resist food?
Other side effects : having bad breath, hallucination, poor memory
I suggest you just work out, go to the gym or if you have no time, just 20-30 minutes of exercise will do, even at home you can do it...and eat more protein food, less carbo (rice, salad, pasta), ... one suggestion i also will recommend is GRAPE FRUIT JUICE, or GRAPE JUICE, drink eat during meals... or calamansi juice every after meal...
next, do not eat more at night, no in between meals, no rice at night if you cannot bear of not having dinner..
no to junk foods (lays, pringles, doritos - a big NO NO)
for much effective but safe - for 5 consecutive days, fruits only, breakfast - dinner (banana (for potassium), apple, oranges (vit C)............. trust me, after 5 days, your tummy will be flat, your abdomen will be flat and you will see your skin nice in spite of the diet you have (coz you are taking fruits, its no way your skin will get dry), your bowel is normal, and you will lose up to 5 lbs or even more on that 5 days ... after a week of fruits- only intake, the next week, you can eat small portions of beef, chicken or anything you like, again SMALL only... then after 2 weeks, you go back to the fruit routine again just to maintain an energetic diet...
good luck

Drinking lots of water will keep you from feeling hungry. It is okay to drink lots of water, but you still need food. What I would do is drink lots of water and eat 5 to 6 small meals a day.

Fasting is good but only fast with water for a day.
Fasting with liquids is good because you have added juices.
