Hi,
I'm a 17 year old brunette with long midback layerd hairstyle. I'm looking to get a new haircut this weekend and was looking for some suggestions . I'm just sick and tired of the same old hairstyle. So whatever you guys think look nice please let me know. THANKS! :)

Hii.. thanks for the suggestions so far. I'm kind of digging the sidebangs look and ideas or photos? thanks everyone.

You don't want to look too old with your style so go with something like the long side bang pulled over to one side with a cute clip. A slight layered cut would be something still in style. I would advise you to go to a stylist and find one you like and seems to be on the same page as you as style. You should be looking for a stylist who pays attention to you and your needs. She should look at your face shape and what your life style is. Also, what you are willing to do to maintain the style. All of these things are done before you actually get the cut. A consultation should not have a charge, in my opinion. However some do charge. It doesn't mean they are any better at what they do. Find the one YOU like. Good luck and God bless.

i have black mid-back layered hair, and i wanted to grow it out to my waist, but now i kind of find it a bother, and want to cut my hair short in the back like a boy's and leave my front about an inch past jaw length. and maybe use gel to spike up the back. of course, that's only my opinion

Short hair has been in alot lately. Have you thought about getting highlights or dying your hair another color? That would be a good idea.
