We went to Phuket when our daughter was 6 moths old. My Thai friend advised me no need to boil the water if it is Evian or Vorvic (imported) but boil if its domestic. So we purchased Evian and it was OK without boiling. However, other than water, there are so many small things to be careful for a baby. I love this beautiful country and there are millions of Thai babies there but I recommend to wait till your child gets a little older.

no, if you boil the water, are you prepared to skim with a filter to remove what you have boiled, do you know how to skim.
bottled water is okay if from a reputable company...and the cap is secured, not broken.....remove your worries.....
