I used to love www.ultimatewedding.com. I was a member there for years! I posted there almost every day! But they closed down their message boards about a week after I got married. There were so many wonderful ladies I really enjoyed talking to on there.
Are there any old members here?
Is there anywhere else to go for a good wedding message forum? I know there is www.theknot.com but I just cant seem to get into that one.

i just signed up for www.the weddingchannel.com... even though i got married 6 months ago. i'm having frustrations with it right now but i'm thinking that it's maybe just some technical problems or whatnot. i'll try again tomorrow.
some friends have been using it... so i guess it must be okay.

They had a wonderful board there. I don't know why it closed. It was very helpful compared to most of the wedding communities online.
The Knot is good for some things but you have to know exactly where to go and where to stay away from. My favorite though is
http://midnightgarden.com/wedding/board which is a great resource and the ladies there are very helpful and nice even if you're not having a medieval theme. I've also skimmed through http://kvetch.indiebride.com but I'm not that impressed with it.
