going for dissolution of marriage and will be moving over to canada, how long do i have to wait to marry in canada after the final court notice?

As long as the divorce is final and you have the paperwork proving you are divorced, you can remarry, whether it is in the states or in Canada.

As you are probably already aware, you will have to apply for permanent residency to live in Canada. Once you are married, you can live here on a visitor visa while applying for residency status, but you can't work or study on a visitor visa, nor can you bring your household furniture over on a visitor visa, just your personal belongings. Any children accompanying you will have to have student visa's to attend school here.
