If I could prove it to you either way, would it make one iota of difference in how you live your life? Honestly?
The big thing that people just don't get, god or no god, you need to focus on life, humanity and the world WHILE YOU'RE ALIVE. The existence of god has ABSOLUTELY NO BEARING on how good a job you do. It's all up to you, me and the rest of us.
If you need god to get by, then as long as you aren't hurting yourself, the planet, or any other people, I say whatever gets you through the day. Personally, I do not need god to do this.
Worry about death when you're dead. For now, concentrate on living a good, productive life and being a good person, and most of all stop stressing!

Well... although many people have a hard time believing what the Bible says is true, it IS a form of evidence. People 2000 years ago documented about a guy named Jesus, and still today we find remnants of that history. Such as the Arc that Noah built, the geographic correctness of the bible, prophesies... soooo many! This still isn't enough for some people... but thats what religion and Christianity is all about! FAITH!

It's said coincidence is God in anonymity, nothing in the universe happens by accident. I look at it as if God were small enough for my understanding he would be big enough for my problems. The human mind is too inadequate to understand what God is. It's like an ant understanding physics. You get all these religious freaks saying a bunch of idiocies too. Religion is for people who fear going to hell. Spirituality is for people who been to hell on earth and have grown from it.

Scientific proof is there but people tend not to want to see it. But beliving in heaven God and Jesus is more about faith. Scientist have proven that all humanity has come from one man and one woman. They have found the ruins of the hebrew slaves that moses lead of out eygpt. They have also found Noahs ark. People choose not to belive and God gave us that choice. I know in my heart God is there and that he hears my prayers. Since i started changing my life i have never wanted. Doesnt mean its been easy but i have never been with out food, shelter or water. When I make the right step God makes things a bit more easier for me. I pray and he answers. Because i know that he will give me what i need and hold off on what i dont. I think that people that dont belive in the Lord think theirs more to it than faith but i promise you thats all you need to accept Jesus as your saviour and have faith that he will be there always. Thru the bad and good. I mean just because you coem to God dont mean things are gonna be complety easy. My brother is a Minster and his path hasn't been easy to get were he is. But the Lord never puts more on our back than we can bear. The love of the Lord is great and i feel sad that you dont know feel that. I hope and pray that you find him because hes lookign for you!!!!!!

i think it was half morality balance, like you say, and half trying to explain the then-unexplainable.
at any rate im agnostic also, so i believe there is no answer to the question in any "true" sense. there is simply no way of knowing for sure.

Yes there is a God. The laws of nature and science are man made laws, God defies those laws. When you choose not to decide you still have made a choice.

to find God you have to have faith.
do you feel the wind blowing in your face? you can't see the wind but you know its there because you feel the wind.
You can't see God but you can feel his effect on your life if you believe in Him.
as you believe so shall you receive.
free will ...its all up to you

Read the second chapter of Acts and ask yourself if you would be satisfied if you could have that experience. I think your answer will be yes. That single chapter will answer enough of your questions to at least get you started on an amazing journey with the living God.
