You can always invest in a flat iron, some can be pretty price but usually are very well worth it and work just fine. I'd also try visiting a salon and seeing what they say depending on your hair and how healthy it is.

Also, I'd consider blow-drying it straight.

Here's a link to a website that gives you step by step on how to blow dry your hair straight:

I also found another website that may help you:

"Pour a dollop of liquid straightening serum and a smaller dollop of glossing serum into your hand and mix them together. (Tip: Vaseline works just as well as serums, pomades and gels and is at least a tenth of the cost) "

Invest in a good straightening iron and straightening serum. You can find them in the beauty/hair aisle of any grocery store. After taking a shower, put some of the straightening serum through your hair (especially your ends. After that, blow dry your hair using a round brush, then smooth it by using a straight iron and finish with more serum.

I'm not quite sure about the vaseline but try moisturizing your hair and then us a flat iron. It should do the trick. But make sure its not too hot or you wont have any hair to straighten:)

after you wash and condition, use a straightening serum or cream (i have curly hair too, and creams add hydration). seperate the hair into small, chunky sections and blow dry. once completely dry, start at the base of the neck with smaller sections, and flat iron. it's tedious work, and time consuming. but it's effective, and worth it. plus it'll stay straight for more than one day. only minor touch-ups with the flat iron may be necessary. good luck!

no you will fry your hair since vaseline is so thick and oil based the iron wil grill you hair

buy a straigten aid like heat protection cream
y i dont use this so i dont know about the products out there but im sure if you ask a salon worker and tell her you want a product to help make your hair straight before you iron it

I really don't know, but i recommend not straightening your hair, because straightening it uses heat and it damages your hair more and more and makes it weak each time you do it
