All religions basically (attempt to) comfort three of man's insecurities:
How did I get here?
How should I act while I am here?
Where am I going when I "leave" here?
The rest is all filler. Your question is excellent in that it allows the less open-minded among us to keep stepping back from the screen until they see the commonality in all the world's belief systems.
Christians - Would a god powerful enough to "create" this Earth really not want all of its inhabitants to "know" the same stuff? More than half the world population doesn't use a fork to eat their dinner. Many of those have never heard of Jesus Christ. Is it because the missionaries haven't yet traveled to their shack in Mongolia to convert them? Come on!
Did anyone ever think that if there is a creator, the deepest level it wants us to understand is what we all understand in common? That's why I think this is a great question. I ask it all the time in discussions like this. Keep broadening your view until you can find the commonality between Hawai'ian Tiki gods Muslim, Hindu, Morman and Buddha. How can we think that a supreme being wants us to understand any more than what all of these understand. Faith is an "explanation" for the things that have been fabricated as myth that were supposedly divinely divulged.
Think about it.

i love previous churches. The structure is in many cases remarkable and the sweetness, mixed with the quiet is very conducive to meditative concept i locate. The Anglican Cathedral in my city has an open day each and every 3 hundred and sixty 5 days and that i in many cases bypass. you're allowed to climb the bell tower and get the most panoramic view over the harbour from it. i have been generic to attend a useless night mass or 2 besides. there's a Dutch Catholic Church in Sydney the position they nonetheless have a good time a Latin Mass and that is kinda remarkable. The mosque down the line from me had an open day on the community carnival very last 3 hundred and sixty 5 days and that i went alongside. It became very instructive and the girls who attend had made some tremendous nutrition to percentage with each and every of the travellers. It became fairly encouraging to work out the coolest community kin they were beginning up, as a number of the locals view them with suspicion and a level of worry. i imagine seeing how open hearted and pleasant all and sundry there became made somewhat a dent in that regardless of the actuality that. I in certain situations attend a Hare Krishna temple interior the Hunter Valley for ceremonial dinner days. it is instructive. I don';t recognize a lot about the corporation itself, yet any such number of of its adherents are sweet and vivid and inviting. it is a yet like spending yet another day in a overseas usa. each and every of the diverse meals and individuals wearing gowns and stuff.I in many cases devour at Govindas it is their eating position on the city, as ts the perfect low-priced vego nutrition available round right here. All they ask you to do is participate in a short devotion in the previous you devour, yet they're keen to respond to any question in case you go with to invite.
