Well, the great flood is actually a historical occurence. At the end of the last ice age, all the ice that was covering the Norther hemisphere melted, covering this part of the worl with water. This happened about 12000 years ago, around 10000 BC. The flood appears in many mythologies, not only in the Bible. Look at the story of Ghilgamesh or the Greek mythology. And the flood could have lasted for 40 days for all we know, because the water went into the ocean. If you talk to geologists, they will confirm that the sea level is higher now with about 100-200 meters than it was 12000 years ago.
As for dinosaurs, they were long gone by that time. Anyway, they wouldn't have been taller than the waters

Well... to be honest.. IF GOd can created earth out of nothingness..
It's not a big matter for Him to fill the earth with water and remove it.
But if you believe there's always a science explanation to all of this.. then you will miss the point. You won't ever understand why Jesus can heal the blind, why he can walk on water, and why he can ressurected after death. Since no science book can describe the wonder of God's hand.
It's just a matter of believe.. or reject.
Remember the story about cruxifixion of Jesus? There's two criminals cruxified beside His. Both of them commit murder, both of them was high level criminal. Both have done the same mistake. Both have choose wrong motive to kill people, both may choose the wrong friends, choose the wrong career.
BUT, while one criminals choose to mock at Jesus, The other choose to say, "Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom".
And what Jesus said? "I tell you the truth, today you will be with me in heaven."
You've made some bad choices in life, haven't you? You've chosen the wrong friends, maybe the wrong career, even the wrong spouse. You might look back over your life and say, "If only... If only I could make up for those bad choices...."
Yes.
We all make thousands of bad decision in our whole life time. but ONE good decision can offsets all thousand bad ones on earth. Even if it's in your last minute of life.
the choice is yours

there's a spectacular theory. somewhat than the water being deep sufficient to conceal the mountains, God would have decreased each and every of the mountains and raised the beds of each and every of the seas. That being the case the water would in user-friendly words were 4 or 5 metres deep. Then reversed the problem after. stupid? imagine about it. the quantity of water mandatory to conceal each and every of the mountains brings about an no longer conceivable storage difficulty earlier and after the flood.

...um How do you think the animals got to be in Australia?...they swam?...lol no,no,no! It just never happened!
How did the story ever get started? ...um to explain how sea shells (fossils of) got up in the mountain tops?
Just think of it.
When we were just starting civilization some group of nomads come to town with sea shells telling every one.
Hey guys we got these sea shells up in that mountain.
They all go...um?
How did those (fossils of) sea shells get up there?
Back then they never knew about " plate tectonics or the fact that the mountains were once ocean floors"
First step to the so called account of the flood.
It evolved from there. This is more fact then not.
Hope that answers your question.
There was no flood as the Bible describes.
Are we to believe the sun stood still for a whole day?
Jos. 10 ?
The old testament is so full of errors, that is why God gave us the new testament. The jews put in their own words, Not Gods.
To this day God has made them blind to the truth, (Jesus). because the defiled the truth,by putting other false stories in their Holy book, making it un holy.

when the rain came down everything in the world that was outside the ark got destroyed except for all the sea creatures...anything that was living in the sea was kept alive there are some swimming dinosaurs that were kept alive....crocodiles are dinosaurs...and also the water level was very high over the tallest mountain and it was boiling water and it was extremly wild so there is no chance of anyone surviving however there was one giant who did survive by hanging on to the back of the ark

Let Greenland alone melt right now....it will raise the water table in the oceans by 20 feet. So imagine everything you know on all coasts around the world to be under water up to at least the floor of the 3rd floor.
Thats just Greenland....still have Iceland and both Poles. Now melt all that ice...and yes....the entire planet is 100% covered in water, even the highest mountain.
The water is still here....its just frozen now.

jane: To add the H2O necessary to flood the entire earth with, was made possible by God "opening the fountains of the deep" ! The dinosaurs obviously, did not co-exist with mankind at that age on the earth , or they would have been brought into the ark "two by two", also, to be preserved "after their kind".

Geological evidence suggests that the "Flood" was a localized occurrence not unlike a seasonal tidal incursion. There is even one story going around that Noah was in fact a business man whose 'boat' was caught up in just such an torrent.

In fact there are so many contradictions about that purported event that it does not make sense to try to make sense out of it.
The time-span between the start and end of the flood is littered with contradictions from one verse to the other.
How come that animals that lice permanently underwater drowned?
As other animals are carnivores, and are hunters, what did they eat during that period of at least 250 days?
How did they reproduce? is there inbreeding?

Not all of the Dinosaurs died out during the flood, only few survived after it, at that time the climate changed so then they started to die out.
